Pro Bono Net, Lone Star Legal Aid, and our allies have trained more than 5,000 advocates nationwide since 2017. To see examples of past trainings, click here. The Advocate Network of Advocates for Disaster Justice, a group of over 800 advocates across the country, has served as a crucial knowledge-sharing and networking hub for more than 50 federally-declared emergencies, including the Covid-19 pandemic.
We collaborate with leading civil legal aid organizations, law firms and other justice allies to design scalable and accessible digital tools that expand access to legal help for disaster impacted communities. Learn more here.
In partnership with other national organizations such as Equal Justice Works, we help spread awareness every March about disaster-related challenges, provide resources for survivors and advocates, and highlight the important role that legal professionals play in disaster preparedness, recovery, and resilience efforts.
